JOIN THE SHRED TEAM

We’re looking for someone to join the team who is as passionate about the intersection of form and function as we are. We create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces for customers every day, and are committed to attention to detail, creativity, and learning as we go.

We’re currently looking for a shop assistant, see below for more details.

  • Full or Part-Time work available depending on experience.
    Part time: 30 hours/week

    Requirements:

    • Basic Shop / Building Experience

      • Ability to confidently read a tape measure

      • Basic math competence

    • Passionate about combining art and function

    • Reliability of attendance and ability to perform

    • Ensure shop is cleaned and orderly at end of shift

    • Driver’s license and ability to assist with procurement of materials

    • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods of time, repeated lifting of heavy objects, and working in non-temperature controlled conditions

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Formal vocational training

    • Design experience

    • Personal build portfolio a plus
